The "Lava Bay" and SG115
lt’s 25 mins journey to reach this spot. The dive site has a beautiful topography as rock formations presenting a tranquil and dramatic scene to the divers. lt has a gentle slope which goes down to 25 mtrs which is well suited for Open water divers to higher level of divers. lt’s also suited for wide-angle photography.
In May 2007 the BOSAD (Bodrum Sualtı Derneği) sinked the Coast Guard Ship 'SG115' in the Lava Bay to create an artificial reef with this new wreck.
